— all the way from Israel — we are pleased to present a program by Debbie Zimelman, internationally recognized portrait photographer and author (and coincidentally the niece of our own Cantor Sol Zim).
Debbie will be talking about her new book, “Women on The Front Lines; Inside the Combat Units of the Israeli Army”, the only book to explore the lives of women who serve in the combat units of the Israeli Defense Forces. In addition to showing us her work, she will be introducing a woman IDF member.
We will be on Zoom, so that you can ask questions.
