Pittsburgh, Poway, Jersey City, Monsey, Colleyville, and now the very recent thwarted attack in NYC…unfortunately one of the most frequent types of threat that the Jewish community has faced in the United States since 2018 has been that of the active intruder, or what is known as an “Active Threat”.
Amid heightened concerns for communal Jewish security, interest in active shooter trainings have recently soared. Being prepared and having a plan is the best thing you can do in the event you are faced with a threatening situation.
