We are saddened by the passing of Michele Goetz, sister of our congregant Gary Newman. The funeral has taken place.
Shiva will be observed at the home of Gary and Esta Newman, 162-20 9th Avenue in Whitestone, apartment 7A, on Sunday and Monday, January 19/20, from 2-5 PM and 7-9 PM. Minyan will be at 8:15 PM each evening. We already have a minyan arranged for Sunday evening, so in case of inclement weather, please be assured that it is covered and stay safe. The shul minyan will meet at its regular time of 7:30 PM both evenings.
