Passing of Marilyn Weinberger z’l
We are saddened by the passing of Marilyn Weinberger, sister of our teacher and friend, Rabbi Pamela Barmash. A private funeral was held today.
Rabbi Barmash is observing shiva at the family home, 85-33 215th St. in Hollis Hills, until Thursday morning, and then continuing shiva in St. Louis.
We are moving the regular synagogue minyan to the shiva house at the following times:
Tuesday at 8:15 AM and 7:30 PM
Wednesday at 8:15 AM and 7:30 PM
Thursday at 8:15 AM
Services will be held outdoors if weather permits; otherwise they will be indoors with masks required.
Services will not be held at the synagogue during these times, but we will have our regular Zoom connection for those who prefer to join virtually.
Other visiting hours, both indoors and outdoors (weather permitting) are:
Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 PM
Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 PM.
