We are saddened by the passing of Frederick Hersh, father of our congregant Audrey Shepard. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 30, at 12:45 pm at Sinai Chapels on Horace Harding Expressway. Burial will follow at New Montifiore Cemetery on Long Island.
Shiva does not officially begin until after the conclusion of Sukkot, next Tuesday night. However, those who would like to support Audrey through the festival are welcome to visit her at 67-29 215th St. in Bayside at the following times:
