Like so many, I feel deep distress for what is going on in Israel. I have many friends and family living in Israel and they are all afraid to go on to the streets. They go to work, shop for food, go to shul on Shabbat and do what they have to do…BUT beyond that, they are mostly trying to stay close to home. They are truly afraid that at anytime, anywhere (on the street, on a bus, at a store) THEY COULD BE ATTACKED.
I have conveyed the message to my many friends and family in Israel that our HHJC community stands with them and is praying that this latest rage of terror comes to an end. So, let us all pray for the safety of our beloved Jewish State, for her citizens, leaders, soldiers and visitors, as they work together to secure, protect and defend themselves against terror.
Am Yisrael Chai! Israel; we are with you!
